ASSISTANT Coach
U16 & U14 Program
ABOUT ESC ALPINE
Based out of Edmonton Ski Club, ESC Alpine is actively seeking Assistant Coaches for our U14 & U16 programs for the 2022-2023 Season. We train at Edmonton Ski Club Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Sunday mornings and train and race locally and in the Rockies on many weekends.

JOB OVERVIEW
Support and contribute to the planning, implementation and coaching of the ESC U14 and U16 programs.
Provide effective and balanced coaching to all program athletes and coaches.
Work closely with the Head Coach, Coordinator(s) and other staff to implement programs, races, camps, workshops, etc.
Implement and support the program calendar.
Provide regular and effective feedback to all athletes.
Provide technical guidance in program initiatives and contribute to short and long-term strategic plans.
Work with the Head Coach to ensure adequate and sufficient equipment is available.
Model, monitor, and uphold ESC Alpine’s Codes of Conduct amongst all coaches, racers and parents.
Additional duties as required by the Program Director, Coordinator and/or Board of Directors from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS
ACA Development or Performance Level certification.
One or more years of experience coaching at the U14 / U16 level.
Ability and track record of motivating and inspiring athletes.
Ability to support the design and implementation of strength and conditioning programs.
Exceptional organizational and communications skills.
Valid criminal record check.
